An opportunity for Santa Monica
A Note For Our Community

A Message to the Community:

I live and work in Santa Monica and have for many years. In fact, the entire project team has strong roots in this city and we feel a tremendous responsibility to make sure this project brings real and meaningful benefits to the community and is embraced by all of us who live here. We believe we have a project that offers just that.

The Ocean Avenue Project will create a new and significant cultural amenity while preserving two landmarked buildings. It will provide a public observation deck so residents and visitors can enjoy the beautiful sunsets. It will activate the pedestrian experience with expansive sidewalks, restaurants and shops. It will have a step-backed design that places the height in the center of the property to minimize view impacts and it is designed by a world-renowned architect, Santa Monica’s own, Frank Gehry.

We’ve been working on this project for several years and we’re very proud of it. We hope the community will be, too. And, as we begin the review process with the City, we are excited to work with everyone who calls Santa Monica home. If you would like to stay informed, meet with us or have any questions, please sign up and put your questions or request in the comment box on the signup page. Or, you can contact our project manager, Bob Bronstein directly at 424-645-3217 to answer your questions or email us at

Thank you for your interest. We’re excited to get started.

Santa Monica
Known as the "City of Inspiration," Santa Monica has remained one of the most unique communities in Los Angeles and has welcomed great thinkers, business leaders, artists and cultural icons alike.

We are proud to introduce a new hometown "inspiration" that evokes this same spirit.

Designed by one of the city's own icons, visionary architect Frank Gehry and Gehry Partners, the Ocean Avenue Project, will be a world-class hotel and museum campus located in the heart of downtown Santa Monica on the corner of Ocean Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard.
